Hi All

Less than three weeks to our first ever trip to Arillas. Was just wondering what everyones favorite things were about the place. The things you always do when there or things to eat and drink. Keep it clean :-)

Well where do I start?

Waking up to the glorious sunshine and seeing the village slowly wake up, sipping that first ice cold cider by the pool, settling down on the beautiful beach with a book an ipod, wandering around the resort in the evening as all the beautiful aroma's from the Taverna's draw you in, or settling down at the coconut with the first of many cocktails....I am relaxed just thinking about it! You will love Arillas, I promise you!

The best thing to do in Arillas is just relax, sit by the pool with a good book, then when the sun goes down have a wander and just pick a place to eat ,doesn't really matter where as they are all good. Have a nice bottle of wine and then go to the Coconut or Malibu for a few more drinks then wander back to sleep it all off ready to start again the next day.

My favourite of all is to laze on the far end of the beach, in and out of the sea until the thirst ovetakes me, then wander (fully clothed!) back to Kaloudis ("Splish Splash") and have several ice-cold Mythos. Guess this year it will be Royal Ionians but just as many!

Then off to shower, and find a nice meal (ideally in Thalassa to watch the sunset but could be Graziella, Amourada, Brouklis, Vavilas...........anywhere in fact) Then Coconut or Malibu for natters, cocktails - at least as many as you Jo lol - and general well-being.

Hi Gazcaz

I can not put my finger on just one favourite thing I like about Arillas, it is everything, the people are so friendly, it's not commercialised in any way, the beach is to die for, the blue sea is superb.
The tavernas are fantastic, the food is great.  The smell of Greek cooking on a night when you are out is lovely and the Greek music.

You feel so chilled from the moment you arrive, the only bad point, I think, is having to come away, boo hoo!!!!!!!!

ONE of our favourite times of the day is later on in the a.noon.  We might have been for a walk during the day, or been by the pool, had a lovely lunch etc. and then we wander down to the beach about 4.00 p.m. have a last, leisurely swim before we go back and shower, have a cold glass of white wine before we go looking for something to eat, then watching the sun go down.  So many favourite things when I think about it!
If you want the rainbow, you gotta put up with the rain.
