May 2006 we stayed at The Galini. We had a great time. It will be busy in August, but you`ll enjoy. If the past is anything to go by, it will be warm/hot. Have a great time.

If you want the rainbow, you gotta put up with the rain.

Jen and me have only been able to do late July and early August 'cos I teach.

Yes it's busy, but the owners fall over forwards and backwards to make your holiday special. It will never be Beindorm (thank God) but at the peak it can get quite energetic. Mailbu, Coconut (our favourite) bars will provide the grown up stuff. Within limits...

Other posts will tell you that August is busiest in Arillas which doesn't suit everyone but can be lively.

Bet you enjoy that aspect when you come back to paradise.

We was also there in June 2006, but not the Galini.

We've been in August every year since 1993 and it is busier then because you get all the Italians there too. Inevitably everywhere is more crowded but there is always room for everyone. You may have to wait a bit longer for your meal....but hey, that's a good excuse for another drink!

I don't need excuses for another drink Sandy....

Hey Sandy - you just said it all.  Long slow meals, another drink when you want it and watch the sun set. Our idea of heaven.

Can't wait....am taking Michelle to our local Greek restaurant tonight in Southamptom....The Fat Fig (!).....not quite the same but we'll do our best and they do sell retsina. We can also walk home....and imagine we're walking up the road in Arillas...lol

Sandy, you capture the spirit of Arillas....

and the beer, and the wine, and the cocktails and the shots and....! Ask riggers we can't get enough!

But seriously, wino1605 you don't have to be an Arillas PA (p*** a*****) to enjoy. Ask erga (EEG) who leads us all!

Enjoy every minute while you're there - it's precious!
best wishes
