Hi, returned on Monday from Arillas.

Had a lovely holiday.  Stayed in Tria Adelphia in Philippe and Eleni's new block.  Have left a report in reviews.

Just missed Maggie and Carol, you left half an hour before we arrived.

Met MnM - Mick and Mary.  Lovely down to earth yorkshire couple, great laughs.

Saw Viv in Brouklis, recognised her as soon as she walked in, we had just called to book a table but unfortunately she was in a mad rush to get ready for corfu town.  Disappointed I missed Negg, left his pickled onions at Brouklis.  Dimitris said he presented them to him on a plate with a knife and fork.  haha.

We hired a jeep this time, (hate the scooters), from Wednesday to Sunday so kept missing Negg.  Saw some fantastic sights.  The view from the mountain when you go through Priniplas if amazing.

Terry, we ate at Horizon 3 times, gorgeous food and waiters!! that's for you EEG.  The latin night wasn't on so no table dancing piccies Terry!!

Had lunch at Thalassa, it was delicious but pricey.  The wait wasn't really that long.  Went the next evening for dinner but they were booked because it was a rock band night.  We hadn't realised, we never made it back because there were others places we wanted to try.  Ate at Vavilas 3 times, i'm addicted to the fish there!  Brouklis twice, isn't Dimitris an absolute darling, he is so nice and how he describes the food had my mouth running like a waterfall, he loves a gossip.  The food was gorgeous, had the Pistatsio one night, mmmm.   The vegetable soup we declared was better than our grans made!  Billy said his food was best cut of beef he had ever had in Corfu.

Also ate at Kostas and the Marina.  Favourites were jointly Vavilas and Brouklis.

The weather was lovely everyday, two windy days, we risked taking a motor boat out on the least windy day from Agios Gorgios.  We couldnt go round to Arillas because the wind was too strong.  We went round to Paleokastritsa.  The bay was lovely and calm.  Flipping eck, coming back, one word - exhilarating!!! My bum cheeks were aching day after, trying to cling on to the seat with them!!! hahahaha.

Great flights with Monarch.  I wasn't as scared as usual.  Think that's probably because somebody on here said they have the best pilots for corfu because of the airstrip.

It was everything I remembered and I love it and the people.  Hope to return in May.

Thanks all, it's so cold here!  Having to cover up my tan with cardies and jumpers, need to buy new though, must have put on another stone whilst in Arillas.  Forgot to mention in my report, the food at Tria is delicious as well.  The spit roast lamb on sundays is so tender and tasty, Philippes dad cooks it over the coals and Eleni's roast spuds are divine.

Welcome back Sharon and I'm glad you had a great time.

Now, did you tell the people at Thalassa about the negative comments on the forum? I thought you may have because they didn't want you to eat there the following night :).

We will look forward to seeing some piccies.

I bet all those builders are glad that you are back.

Hiya Terry,  I have posted our Thalassa experience in the review thread already going.

Yes had a good couple of days back at work, with all my cheeky chappies. xx

Sorry Sharon, I hadn't noticed the other posting. its one of the problems of looking at the forum and working at the same time.

BTW I live near Coventry, I don't support them but thought I would mention it. It was great to be able to take the mick out of the Man U fans yesterday.

Maggie

Sorry we missed you Sharon. We left a wee bit earlier, due to not having given enough warning that we needed a taxi. Had our knuckles rapped by Philip!!!
Anyway, glad you had a good time, we did too.
