I have been asked to post a message on behalf of Dimitris.

There is currently no internet access on the entire island. Dimitris will not be able to respond to any e-mails or postings until this is resolved.

I hope this won't cause too many problems for people.

Is it anything to do the the raging fires on the mainland, damaging the communication link?

My mum (Wendy, Mrs Egg) gave me a call and asked me to post something to let people know.

I guess it must be fires related, I couldn't get through on the phone this evening either...
