Hi
Just attended a juniors sports day

No cheering allowed by spectators

Only team advents

No individual races

I understand its important to teach children the importance of team work to achieve a joint goal. Feel its as equally important for an individual to be rewarded/ recognised  for his/her efforts to achieve their own individual best.

Understand some schools do not have any winners!!!!!!!!

In life you need to strive to achieve your own success and reap the benifits

It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than  to speak up and remove all doubt.

Truth

I went to my youngest daughters sports day last week ........ I think we do well in sport as a nation but just imagine how god we could be if they actually had "proper" sports days that are competitive !
Wolverhampton Wanderers, pride of The Midlands......
