What does Arillas mean to me?

I was asked on Facebook tonight to post like I used to, by a dear friend I have never met but know and love like a sister. We have shared all sorts of stuff over the last few years, because of our Arillas connection and this forum. We would recognise each other on sight, and recognise each other's partners as well. Sharon knows who I mean.

Eileen described the Manatos apartments (opposite Brouklis) as being at the centre of our universe, and that very wise lady was right as usual. There exists an enormous record of what Arillas means to me and to the love of my life, the superior half of our public persona, PhilandJen. Most of it is still on the forum.

Arillas embodies our perfect blend of peace and party. The Greek people understand us and look after us. We understand them (we think!) and look after them as best we can.

For many, Arillas is the perfect holiday destination. This needs to grow, not shrink. The village needs growth and occupancy. But Arillas will never become an "All Inclusive Resort." It will simply include all who want to be there, just as it is.

What does Arillas mean to me? Well I don't know yet. But I vow to spend the rest of my life finding out.
