Hello everyone

I'm new here

I'm going to Arillas at the end of June for 10 days. I'm looking to stay in a studio/apartment somewhere near the beach and centre of the village, but not near a noisy late night bar or apartments that have music on until late. I've had a lovely email from the Bardis Sun and it could be what I'm looking for there. Does anyone have any better ideas?

I've already booked my flight!

Hi Cypress
The Bardis Sun Hotel is near to the beach and Dorita is very nice.
I know Martin always stays there and i think Mary stays there they will be able to give you any info you need.

And next door there is the Bardis Studios. Sounds to me that either would fit your bill exactly. We are staying in the studios for our second time in July. If you want more info send me a PM.

Not that we are quiet....

Bardis Sun studios were our first stay in Arillas - on a late deal allocated on arrival. We are so glad we were put there - have been going back for 14 years now - have tried different places but Spiros and Poppy made us feel so welcome - almost family - so I would go there first and then have a look around to see if you fancy anywhere else for the next time. I am sure you will love it xx
We were in Arillas for 2 whole months and going again for 2 weeks :-)

Hi Cypress!
As mentioned above, I always stay at The Bardis Sun Hotel. It was the hotel my wife and I first stayed at in Arillas and we both loved it. Dorita and Aris  Bardis are wonderful hosts and nothing is too much trouble for them. The hotel accommodation is very comfortable and the rooms have 'tea making' facilities and a large fridge, air con and T.V. The hotel is set back from the sea front about 150 meters at the 'south' end of the resort in a very quiet location with spacious and well kept lawns and grounds with lots of sun beds and an enormous pool. There are wonderful views of Arillas bay and the islands from the second and third floors. In fact, its 'next door' to The Bardis Sun studios, same name but Poppy and Spiros, who I also know well, are not related to Dorita and Aris.
When sadly, I lost my wife, I felt it was a place I could return to and feel 'at home'. Dorita's charges are very reasonable and are 'per person', so there is no 'singles supplement' and breakfast in the pool room is included in the price!

Thanks soooo much everyone

I think I will book the Bardis Sun studios after all. All the accommodation seems to be as good as the next. Last year we went to San Stefanos for 2 weeks and went to Arillas for the day, it was such a beautiful place that we ended up traipsing over the hill (saw tortoises!) whenever we could manage the heat.

So, this time I'm staying in Arillas so I can be there when I wake up!

Thanks again everyone
