The sad news is that Jimmy and Spiros have decided to close on 17 October this year....the first time in my memory that they have not stayed open till the very end of the season. They assure me they will be back in business at the beginning of May 2012.

Sad but not surprised. Would have loved to spend a while with them in late October, but Spiros already knew in July that we wouldn't, unless in a social situation somewhere else.

But 17th is so early. Sandy, you once said that they "stay until the last guest has gone." I guess they are doing so this year, but with fewer guests. My heart bleeds over it.

The good news is..........

All summer they have watched the likes of me n Capt Bob n many others play darts when all they can do is look after the customer needs.

Now they can get a few games in earlier than usual.

Good can come of everything.

Just rang the Rainbow to say goodbye to the boys for winter.....and there is no reply. They must be closed already....I can't believe it.....I thought there were people there till tomorrow...

Sandy meluvver, I can't believe it either. Some are going to look after us week after next, but Jimmy and Spiros not. DIS-A-STER! Last October we spent a couple of days with them. We are hurting as much as you. And our Arillas. What can we do to change it??
