Re:coming to Arillas ( splited from Arillas Today post)

I have had enough of waiting for the great British summer!  We are desperate for some sun so, have made an impulse decision to come to Arillas on a tight budget. All the packages seem to have gone so it will be independent....

Can one of you folks out there tell me how much the taxi is each way to/from the airport and, also how much the sunbeds and brollies are?  I know we could stay by the pools for the cost of a few drinks and lunch but my OH likes the sand and sea!

Hiya Pecked hen, what a great decision you have made!! Taxi's are around the 55 euro mark each way (try booking in advance on here Arkokl Travel or San Stefanos travel - or better still try and get a taxi share with someone else) and I think two beds and brolly come out at 7:50 euro.  Lucky lucky people

Just a thought , but if you are on a budget, as we were most years we came, why not bring a brolly from the UK and buy a couple of those large mats for the beach?

You can always leave the brolly and mats when you go home.
(The mats are ideal for wrapping bottles of "something" though)

And..... Don't drink too much or we'll have to change your "Login" to...

Yes Eggy, I have NO idea how I know these prices as for 13 years I reckon I have had a proper sunbed on the beach er...twice! We took one of those cheapy camping mats this year and it was fab. Plus up at the nuddy beach there aint no other option!
