Hi,

Returned from Arillas last Saturday and I have got a serious dose of the holiday blues.
I wanted to go back in September but the wife won't let me, she says we need the money for Christmas.
I found a cheap holiday if anyone is interested.

This looks a good deal but, are you sure the transfer and baggage are included?  The small print at the bottom says these may be extra.

I am looking for 14 nights at the beginning of September - but it will have to be cheap!

Ang

Some bargins to be had there....for those that can

Hi all!
I have just booked my flight from CWL Cardiff to Corfu 30th. september-14th. october. It's normally quite expensive to use this airport, but I prefer to use it traveling alone, rather than do the trudge (6hrs +) on the bus to Gatwick etc. I had quite a pleasant surprise, fare of £108 return, with taxes, charges and a discount for booking 'on-line' £136! This fare is the same from Gatwick, Bristol and Cardiff and unusually low in price. Thought it was quite a bargain, add on taxi transfer to Arillas and the cost of my stay at The Bardis Sun Hotel as an 'independent' guest, it must be the most reasonably priced holiday I've ever had!

Martin glad that you are going again, but even better when you have been able to get a real bargain.

The love affair continues.

Wow martin great deal! Which airline is it? Also, when I had a browse on Ice Lolly website I couldn't select Arillas as resort is it a case of selecting San Stef?

Hi All,
Just about a month to go now, and I'm starting to get that 'tingle' of excitement! I didn't think I would be going again this year, but when you get a bargain, you can't resist it.
The flight is with Thomson Jo, I had quite a surprise, as it was £176 plus tax and charges a couple of weeks ago. All the other flights have gone up to 'silly' prices, but this one went down, no idea why, most unusual.
I love Arillas in May, when all the plants and wildlife are waking up, but the autumn has also a lot going for it. The cooler evenings result in no haze and much brighter and spectacular views and sunsets. Great for photography. Even better when I emailed Dorita, she said she was still open and my room was waiting for me!
Just in case anyone else is tempted, Dorita's rates are very good, with no 'singles' supplement and breakfast included! The Bardis Sun Hotel contacts are...

Tel./fax....0030-26630-52050 between 08.00-18.00 hrs. local time, Home number 0030-26630-51039 after hours, but don't ring too late at night!

Well Ang, What are you waiting for, think Thomson are trying a 'one off' bargain to attract sales. It does seem a bit unreal as Cardiff Airport has a reputation for being one of the most expensive in the country to fly from. Paid well over twice that in May! Still seats left, last time I looked, at least 10!

Martin.

Hi Peckedhen,

Yes it was inclusive of baggage and transfer.

Wow, that certainly was a good deal.

I always thought that these didn't include the 'extras'.  I have booked to gfo independently now but next year will take another look at icelolly.com.

Thanks.
