My husband, our daughter, son and his girlfriend have recently returned from another great holiday in Arillas. I just feel compelled to express on the forum our thanks to the people of Arillas and in particular the business owners. They made us all feel to welcome and at home and what amazed me the most was how they keep a smile on their face when they have all the problems of the economy going off in the background and they do keep it in the background! Apart from not being able to get Marmalade (a very trivial matter) at one Taverna and the owner explaining that they cannot do a big shop in Corfu Town as the bank won't let them, you would never know there was a problem.

They are truly wonderful, hospitable people and me and my family wish them all the very best in these difficult times and we know that Arillas visitors old and new will continue to support them and their beautiful island.
