Introduce my boyfriend to the delights of Arillas  - and see him fall in love with it too!  Although we've been together some time, this will be his first visit (as I'd already booked to go to Arillas with friends the first summer we were together, then last year we did Lemnos & Cyprus) so he's heard me going on (and on and on!) about it for some time, seen all the photos but is yet to have the experience.  Can't wait!

Hear the sound of crickets at night and smell the fresh thyme as I walk back to Bardis Sun Studios having had a beautiful Greek meal and a few glasses of retsina to then be welcomed back at the studios by the lovely bardis family for a few more retsinas and a chat to them and other friends, new and old.

walk along the beautiful beach early in the morning and then up to the bakery for breakfast...feta tomato and olive pies with a coffee and sit outside on the little table to eat them...delicious!

Don't you just love that quiet time of the day? It holds it's own special magic. Bliss....

I also love the mornings and it never fails to amaze me how quiet it is until quite late.  I don't want to miss a minute but it seems lots of people are so totally chilled they must have luxurious lie-ins! I love pottering over to the bench overlooking the beach and having my first (and only lol!) cup of coffee of the day and watching Arillas wake up and the sunbed man raking the beach, the (mad!!) joggers heading up the cliff and the yoga lovers doing their impossible looking stretches....Bliss.
