HI can anyone tell me when Arillas gets busier due to the Italian holidays please?

Thanks Jo.  We can't get booked for when we want in July and August 21 is available but don't want to  when it's a lot busier  because of the Italian holidays.

Hi Ness

We we're there from the 5th August this year, for a forthright.  It was too busy for us (althought great for the businesses); seats reserved in the Nut, sunbeds reserved outside Ammos.  Personally we would not go again at that time of year and now that Liv is older maybe we will come for a week in September or May in future years.

ness, the last week of August is likely to be slowing a bit, but still busy. It depends what you need. The weather is likely to be top end, like it can be in July. It will never be like May or September, but then, nor is July. A hard decision to make for you. I guess it depends how much you can compromise. Best wishes for the right choice for you.

We visited Arillas from 25th August to 1st September this year and I was worried that it would be too busy as we came with our son and daughter in law and two young grandchildren. at  It was wonderful and not too busy at all. We did not have to book any tables in the tavernas and you could easily get sunbeds. The weather was hot but not overpowering. We would certainly go again at this time.

Thanks for your replies. My other option is 18th september but have never holidayed anywhere that time of year so uncertain of the weather. We toyed with the idea of going elsewhere next year then booking earlier for year after but i dont think i can manage not going. Have been the last 3 years and love it.I just dont like places that are too busy.Usually go last week July first week August and find it just right.

well, I can say that the last few days of our forthnight this year were a lot quieter than the rest Ness, thus I think you will be fine with the 21st.  It would not be dissimilar to late July if not a little quieter even xxxx
