It really makes me mad when someone tries to put people off visiting a resort because they don't like it personally and give out false information. A lady has been posting on Trip Advisor that she is staying in Paleo but really wants to visit Arillas during her stay and someone has just basically told her not to bother as Arillas is full of places selling English breakfast and the beach is full of seaweed. They then go on to say visit Agios Georgios as it's much better. People will read this post and think that Arillas is really tacky, I think it's totally out of order to try to sway people's opinion in this way.

Hi Dimitris I'm on my IPad and a bit of a technophobe, don't know how to provide the link on here although I know how to do it on a normal computer. The post is called Sea Taxi from Paleo to Agios Georgios to Arillas or something like that and the post is by someone called Bongobongobongo. Should be bonkersbonkersbonkers in my opinion. It is on the Corfu forum rather than a particular resort forum and yes I did leave my own opinion on there. Rant over !!

Just added my views to the trip advisor report, could have wrote so much more but thought i would give others a chance to add some comments

Just tried to add my two-pennyworth, but it keeps telling me that my request was invalid and I need to send a valid HTTP request
Will keep trying, but nice to see that a number of posts have alread corrected mr bongo..... clearly he has never been to Arillas.

Update ... it's taken it now. Sent it from Firefox instead of Internet Explorer and it was quite happy. In the words of Eggy - wotsthatallabout

i've put my tuppence worth in too!! we cant have people thinking arillas is an english beer drinking all you can eat breakfast sort of place! (not that there is anything wrong with those places, i just don't want to be in one!)

I have had read similar postings in the past about Anaxos on Lesvos and had to put the record straight as a Tripadvisor Destination Expert ,,,,,,, all bow down to me !  LOL .

This is the thing about the internet.You cannot control what is said even if you know the criticism of Arillas is both unjustified and inaccurate.
All we can do is keep making it clear that we visit every year and can vouch for its beauty,the service and friendship you get from all the locals and the desire they have to make visitors friends rather than just customers.
I know you all seem the same way as we do.
