Hi

Need some help please from anyone that drives out to Arillas .

We drove to Brindisi last year then done the 8 hour crossing over to Corfu , this year we are going to go from Ancona but cant decide what line to use out of Mineon , Superfast or Anek .

Can anyone advise on which one has the best facilities on , we are hoping to go next weekend :-)

Done Minoan from Ancona twice this year. The ferry we took in January was lovely, clean, spacious, and I think probably new. My husband used Minoan again in April, and it was a different ferry, older, ont quite as nice, and says embarkation was like a comedy sketch! We debated paying a little more when we came in Jan and going superfast, as it was supposed to be a slightly quicker crossing, but had to keep a good eye on finances so didn't. Glad we didn't bother, as it left half hour before us, and arrived 10 minutes after us! Hope this helps, and have a good trip.

Hi

Thanks , we were debating whether to go with superfast but there is nearly a 300 euros difference !!  We have a choice of days to go on , the Olympia goes on one day and the Europa on the other dont spose you can remember which one was the nicer one .

Minoan Europa and Olympia are similar ships. You can google them or check the "fleet" on the website. http://www.minoan.it/en/ships.shtml They sometimes have to use older ships if one of the two are out of service. You won't know until you board.
Anek go from Venice to Igou and have two brand new ships although they are much smaller than the Minoan ships. Its a shorter drive than Trieste or Ancona.
You can check local ferries here
