Jet 2: New route for 2013

Jet 2 have added another route to their Corfu schedule for 2013. 

Manchester - Corfu from starts 20th May.

Yes, I priced it up too and decided against it... waiting now for Easyjet to release their prices. 

We booked in January this year for September 21st and paid just over £300 (I think around £305) including credit card charges for me and BBK

Somehow I think they won't survive unless they compete with other providers. JohnTheRef's irony says the whole issue.

Our flight for May 3rd 2013 is cheaper then that including 20kg luggage each with thomsons, I was really excited to see this new route with Jet2 thought great cheap flights but they are amongst the higher price bracket no way will they make a go of that.  Viv.

Wonder if the prices will go down nearer the time as some flights do?Was hoping it might be a decent alternative choice but certainly not at those prices!!!

I think its a very rare occurrence these days that flights go down in price nearer the time......
