Thompson from Exeter

Went online yesterday looking at flights from Exeter to Corfu for 28th September,only to find that Thompson are stopping from 21st September this year,thats one month earlier than last,so looks like at second break to Arillas is out for us.last years flights were full so dont know what Thompson are playing at.

That's disappointing, hope it's not a taste of things to come.  We live in Cornwall and always like to fly from Exeter if we can.  Fingers crossed that they don't cut the service completely.  We're going out on 31st August this year.

Same happened last year when they stopped flying from Birmingham in September.

Thompson were offering deals from Bournemouth today.... a week in a studio self catering on 22 June per person for 2 sharing was £206.....yet for flight only, it was £388!!!!

That's mind boggling Sandy. Jen just pointed out that you could book the package, get the transfer and stay at Horizon or anywhere else and still spend less than the Thomson flight only.

And a week at Kaloudis or Mathraki with transfer for £206 is a stunning price. Hope somebody here takes advantage.

not to sure what we are going to do yet,a bit loathed to fly from bristol,as we dont want to encourage these companys to use places like bistol over exeter

Phil, I've done just that in the past. Booked a cheap package then told the rep at Corfu airport that we're going elswhere (ie Arillas!!) and got the best of both worlds.

Good job we could not get the flight from Exeter,I forgot Sally's brother and family are coming down to Devon the beginning of October and we are all going down to Cornwall to spead Sally's and Chris's step father-in-laws ashes on the same beach as their mothers.
