Thanks everyone for the information and advice. I think I know the road on the map as we often walked the back way form the Mathraki down to the beach front. I think we'll see what the temp is like when we are there - mind you we can all have a shot at pushing the buggy!

Can't wait as this wasn't open the last time we visited.

thanks again,

Linsey, Drew and Faye xx

Hi,

I did the walk quite a few times last week, both via the road & the donkey track. I would agree that it probably wouldn't be suitable for a buggy, but i would also urge as many people as possible to make the trek because it really is worth it. Make sure you go up onto the roof for the fantastic view it gives you of Arillas & San Stef. I used to walk up the road way, & down the donkey track, took about 15-20 mins up, & 10 mins down.

This German TV program ends at Akrotiri. Great stuff for Nikos

Just wish I could speak fluent German.
It was lovely to see Litsa and little Spiros as TV stars.

We have some photos of Spiros taken in Brouklis and he is wearing the very same outfit.
He is such a beautiful little boy, with a wonderful Mummy.
(OK his Daddy is wonderful too). ;) ;)

My internet connection at home is slow, and the buffering must have by-passed the part with Litsa and Spiros, so it was a nice surprise when I watched it at work this morning. I need to get the video translated now so that sub-titles are shown.

Terry try and look at it again, Spiros and Litsa, Spiiros at the brewery, Kostos at Olive Wood (havent been for about 2 yrs mudt try in October) and a few more locals that Christina passes see if you can put names to any of them, you must know the place well. Ofcourse as you say it was lovely to end up at Akrotiri.

Did recognize Litsa and Spiros second viewing. The flash caption though gives her surname as different to Dimitris. My German is very limited, but did understand some of it.
I have a very fast internet connection with virgin media of 30 gig. or whatever (me not technical) but seems something happened to the site recently as when I have been  to my bookmark and selected Arillas.com, it's come with 'error', and loads of rubbish. I've had to delete the original 'bookmark' and re instate the home page, anyone else had any problems?
Great 'plug' for Nikos and Akrotiri!
Yammas,
Martin.

Martin - I had the same problem with my bookmarking the Arillas.com site, also with the one on my ipod.  Normal service now resumed!

I watched the German video as well (through Facebook) and, even though I don't speak German, enjoyed it thoroughly.  I recognised Litsa and Spiros - what a good looking family - I don't know what happens in Corfu/Greece when a woman marries - does she adopt her husband's name or not?  Whatever, Goudelis is Nikos' surname ...  although I believe there are other Goudelis surnames in Arillas that are NOT related (Giorgios from Malibu being one of them)

Janis x
