I think it is Bardis Hotel, but I can make sure for you. I think Bardis Sun Studios were full then, but I can check with Bobby if it was the Studios. Please send me a PM so we don't put details on here in public. I need to know the name you booked and anything else that will identify the booking. NOT bank/card details please. I will find out from my dear friend Bobby if it was with them. If not, it must be Dorita's hotel. At E50, and two bedrooms I think it is.

In truth you shouldn't worry, they are next door to each other and when you arrive it will sort itself out.

If I can help I will.
Phil

Have sent you another PM with the info from Bobby. He says if they have any difficulty they can call in to see him in the Bardis Studios bar, up to 2am, and he will help them.

I think it will go smoothly.
Cheers,
Phil

I now gather that your family will be at Graziella apartments, after Bobby spoke to Aris (Hotel, not Studios.) They are all in the same corner of Arillas, and all offer the same service and accommodation. Have been shown the Graziella apartments and would be quite happy with them.

They just need to be delivered to Bardis Sun Hotel and will be rapidly taken to their accommodation. Two pools to choose from, and fabulous food with several choices less than 100m away. It will be fine.

Sure it will work

Hi claireskilb!
I think what has been said so far is true, you will be looked after on arrival very well indeed. There is some confusion with the family name Bardis. It originates in the little village of Afiones, the next village along the coast. It's a bit like 'Jones' where I live in Wales!
Spiros, Poppy and sons Bobby and George run the Bardis Sun Studios which consists of about 18 twin bed apartments, with twin ring cooker/grill, kettle and fridge, a pool in well kept grounds, and a pool/food bar with T.V etc. open from 08.00-'when'.  I know them well and they are lovely people. Their contact details are:-
Phone/fax...0030-26630-51224. email...bardissun@aim.com.

The Bardis Sun Hotel is run by Dorita and Aris Bardis. (No relation to Poppy and Spiros.). Again a wonderful welcoming and friendly family,  I usually stay here when I visit Arillas. The 'hotel' consists of 18 twin bed rooms and 3 double bedroom rooms, which are quite large. A kettle and 'tea making facilities' and a large fridge is provided in all rooms. There is a large pool in well kept lawned grounds, and a pool room which serves breakfast(included in the price) and drinks and snacks throughout the day between 08.00-18.00 hrs. Their contact details are:-
Hotel phone/fax number...0030-26630-52050. This number is in the pool room and is available 08.00- 18.00hrs. local time.Fax after hours, or they can be contacted after hours on 0030-26630-51039 as long as it's not too late!  email.. info@bardis-hotel.com. Website...www.bardis-hotel.com.

Graziella Taverna is run by Kostas (Aris' brother) and Angeliki Bardis, they have three sons, Thomas, Vasalis, and Spiros. As well as running the family taverna, they have apartments set back from the sea front behind the taverna. Again, I had a good look round them in May this year and thought they were great. There are  twin bedded apartments suitable for 1/2 people and two bedroom apartments, sleep 4, which are very nice, with a full kitchen with oven, hob kettle fridge and all cutlery, crockery and utensils/dining room, very spacious and fitted out to a high standard. Again a lovely family, you will be most welcome! Their contact details are:-
Taverna Graziella phone... 0030-22630-51458 or Home....0030-26630-51039 if no reply at taverna.

All the above properties are within 100 yards of each other! I'm sure all will be fine, hope the info is helpful.
Yammas,
Martin.

Great help Martin I am sure just about got all eventualities covered there! Thanks for posting x

Well done Martin. Everything covered there. Have only just experienced your corner of Arillas and boy did we love it. Maybe we'll go and introduce ourselves to Aris and Dorita in October (if they're still open) or next July in any case. That's how we met Spiros, Poppy and their kids (*special message * yes Bobby and Katarina, kids....) with a simple hour in the bar - we just walked in and said hello. The rest is history.

claireskilb ... it is sorted. They will love the fact they have everything at arm's reach, and the Arillas beach is less than 100m away.

I'm so pleased that you called in last year to see Poppy, Spiros and family, Phil and Jen - I think I'd recommended you to call a couple of years ago...?? If not, then - oh well, I'll claim responsibility for it anyway! Lol x

They're such lovely, welcoming people and even though we've never stayed there we always but always call in to see them each time we visit Arillas.

We've not been to Dorita's place, but have spoken in the past, as we have with other members of the family at Graziella's - all are lovely friendly people.

Let's face it - we're spoiled for choice in Arillas!  Long may it continue!!
