Just looked at the forecast for Arillas this coming week. Clear all week, not a cloud, and 30+ degrees, not even a breeze. Annie, Wetty and girls; Jo Mick and family; Erja and Heavy; Tony and family.... I'm not envious. Really....

We had a hot sojourn in the local this afternoon. Totally cloudy but hot when the sun appeared. It was the golf party, and many an inebriated golfer was being made to drink disgusting cocktails - it will be a riot in the pub tonight. Jen and me? We will be eating chicken souvlakia, dreaming of Arillas nights. Vodka frappes of course. The Greyhound can do without two whose hearts are elsewhere.

It's been c**p all weekend in Southampton....I know where I would rather be....

Like Sandy, I've got it bad today. We could so be living our simple life by the sea in Arillas. We have talked about little else all day. No, we're not dreaming about holidays. We are good at that, but the quiet village life suits us perfectly. After all, we do that here. The weather will be kinder to us, and we would live longer. Jen would swim in the pools every day, and I would cook with the local produce, and drink the odd local beer...

Wake up phil, you have a year or two to wait.
