I know slighlty off topic but if you like a good read and a cook book to boot Elizabeth David I started collecting her books on ebay yr before last wanting first edition which are rare and expensive but have a few 2nd edition, corfu comes up in her travels around the med back during late 30's early war time

Copy of taste for a place Corfu arrived this morning. Flicked through the first few pages. Has recommendations for some tavernas. None listed for arillas. There is a website where you can nominate tavernas at

Eileen you are spot on about Greek Cullinaire. Copy arrived yesterday and have already started delving into it. Some wonderful stuff and I think that doing it by regions is great. Get to see the specialities of the areas.
