Can anyone tell me how far it is to Magoulades  and whether it can be comfortably walked to?

Maggie

You could walk to Magoulades. Depending on how fit you are!!! It's all uphill from Arillas, and it would probably take a while. (not just a 10min walk). I would guess at 45 mins ish? I wouldn't like to do it in the very hot weather tho!

45 minutes? - You jogging then? - You're probably right but I would allow 80 minutes to allow for those hills etc.

Maybe I'll get Wegg to try it out.

If not MIKEE73 - Report back after you've walked it. ( Only 10 mins to drive it though)

Negg you have been added to the ratbag list...I'm telling Wegg on you ;-)

I'm inclined to agree with Maggie and say it's around 45 minutes depending on fitness level, although that's from Arillas and not my end of the village.

OK then - Allow 80 minutes if you stop for a drink or two on the way.
( Or if I'm walking with you )

Ratbag List? - Hmmm! - I would have picked her up when she got there!

Eggy mate, if there is a ratbag list you are at the top of it. So far the members are justlynn, JohntheRef and Sandy x. But now it reads Eggy, Lynn, John and Sandy. It is one list I might never be on.... but yous know better.

mikee73 matey, ratbag means someone who gets to enjoy an Arilliac experience which the rest of us do not. The perfect experience of jealousy.

Hi Phil

Whilst I think of it , did you get my e-mail recently. It seems I made an error with some and they failed to send.
I've just found one from you, about 2 weeks old - whoops!

Cheers mate , from one ratbag to another.

I've decided that, if we have an 18 deg temp at 8 a.m. tomorrow I'll try this walk.
Yeah right! -

Phil think we should be on the Ratbag list, which other forum member has had the experience of pushing a wheelchair up to Afionas and then have to carry a 83yr old over a six inch plank over a very large hole on the heritage track ha ha ha.  Or maybe there could be another list the Raving Looney List ha ha ha.

Well do you think there should be a new list ha ha ha Mick would be at the top as the Looniest Geordie Regular!  We could take her to Magaloudas in June, wonder how long that would take ha ha

lmao Jill. I'm sure I would qualify for the raving looney list.... Many on here would propose or second me!

But then I think all Arilliacs are raving looneys. Far from trying to keep it a secret we blab on about it all the time and persuade others to join in.... And new Arillas Addicts are made every year. Be lucky to get a table in Brouklis by 2012....

Take care and have a great Christmas with all your family Jill.
