Today they say they did some changes that could fix the problem

Please let me know how it goes  anyone having blank pages with  the error:
Database Error: MySQL server has gone away
I feel that we must be very close to resolving this .

I've read the links Dimitris but it all looks very complicated to me! I'm sure you will get to the bottom of the problem soon, thanks for trying to sort this out.

I was able to log in this morning so I've kept the website open all day - if I close down the page I won't be able to get back in again. :-(

Hi Dimitris!
I have had the 'database error: mysql server has gone away' a few times. Other times I lose connection in the middle of scrolling up or down. Its happened since Firefox 'updated' my system to the latest edition. If I log back in Firefox usually 'restores previous session' with no further problems!
Hope this helps,
Martin.

Thanks Martin,
Did this happen anytime yesterday or today?

Hi Dimitris!
The last time this happened to me was two days ago. I haven't had a problem apart from 'dropping' out today and yesterday there seems to be an improvement as it doesn't happen as frequently, and when I log back in I can usually 'resume' where it left me. I have reported  this to Firefox in their automated crash feedback reports and things seem to be getting better now. They say there is a problem with the new Firefox and some websites but they are not specific. They are working on a 'fix'. Not sure if my Apple Mac working with OSX Leopard is a factor. It shouldn't be as I had no problems with  the old OSX system.
Does this make sense to you, my computer now has an instant language converter:
Σας ευχαριστώ για όλη τη σκληρή δουλειά σας που είμαστε όλοι ευγνώμονες για αυτό που κάνετε!
Yammas,
Martin.

Same thing happened to me just a minute ago 06.35 uk time. Firefox stopped working but then restored the session again no problem. It is to do with the Firefox update rather than this site as Martin says.
Life is good ;)
