Thank you very much!!!
you feedback is very important to us!
I have set the webcam in that way because the statistics of  the average Internet user -potential visitor - arillasaddict-  etc. is actually looking for the current weather conditions, a bit of beach-front and imagination  that it could be him/her beeng there.
This is the philosophy of Arillas webcam.
The image is also used by the National Greek TV on a daily basis for a program about tourism and culture.
It could be easy to put the cam to show the main road of Arillas but then we would have to cope with the data protection laws and  other personal and legal believes about privacy etc. which is something that I personaly don't want to deal with.
Have a nice Sunday

I too just want to add my 'thanks' & congratulations to all involved in the new-look webcam.

I'm sure like many other Forum members - clicking onto it is something that becomes second nature to us & I know that I look at it (on average) about two to three times a day.
I do this for all sorts of reasons, the weather, to remind myself how beautiful it is, to cheer myself up (when I look at the alternative here!), to tell myself that in a couple of months I'll actually be back again & for sheer pleasure!

Before we came to Arillas I knew next to nothing of it & my first experience was through the website & of course the webcam which in many ways sealed the deal.
I was so impressed with the images, the way it was put together & the helpful suggestions & good nature/humour of other Forum members - & as a result, we're making our second trip in less than 7 months!

I very much agree Dimitris, that if someone was browsing & stumbled across the Arillas website, it's the best way to gain an insight to the area & the information & webcam images do just that - & would melt anyones heart & persuade them to visit!

Thank you, thank you, thank you - I love it!

Becky B.

Hi  Dimitris

The new webcam is special. The old one was too............

Did you mean that Greek National TV was watching Arillas every day? Know we're famous but Oprah, Esther, Jerry, Trisha, Jeremy etc etc (ask Eggy for explanation!) couldn't market Arillas better than you.

Once an Arillas Addict, always an Arillas Addict!

bebis name soon? Jen and me can't wait to know!

love

I really like the new position of the webcam. The sunsets are going to be spectacular from that position, and the end of the pier is the ideal place to wave at the webcam. Maybe we should all take a banner with us and try to get shots of it on the cam.

It looks like it was a nice day to go on the roof of the Horizon.

Thanks Dimitris

Must be rogue pigeons knocking it about on the roof!

Is the old cam still working? I could see these two cam views today. It looks like the old cam is laying on the foof of the horizon. The same van is in view so they must be both live.

I think we could do with a window wiper on the webcam today.

Dimitris it kept me busy too. What fantastic aerial pictures you have posted!

Some say I am always high as a kite, but now they know what makes me like that! They can see what I see....
