Now I am very interested too..Last year we took what we thought was a short cut past Kokinas, across the stream and past the greenhouses and got told off.. The lady there clapped her hands together and waved at us to go.  The other was the path past the hotel opposite the Galini and the froggy bridge.  We shall definately have to do a rekky next time.

You can also cut through just past the Makris - you end up on the bridge near the Galini.  Walked it many a morning from Kokkinos to the bakery - there and back in 20 mins.

That's done it for us! ditches, dogs, irate Greek ladies ... we'll stay on the main road lol!

No mention of hedges here though?? We do a good "hedge" as you may have gathered!

The one thing that Sandy has omitted to say is the reason it's lovingly known as "Mozzie alley", just try it in the early evening onwards and you will know! Take your repellent with you.
