Hope to catch you in chat before you go but I am working late tonight and tomorrow, refereeing on Sunday. If I don’t get to catch you before you go will see you the week after next have a good time

Thanks John & Dot. Will make the effort now I'm a man of leisure (ha ha...) and hope we pull it off.

Probably be there after pub tonight, but tomorrow and Sunday are dead certs.

Yet more good wishes (all gratefully received) keep coming in. The College bought me a Royal Doulton crystal decanter and two brandy glasses "for your Metaxa"
and even the Principal came to see me to wish me well. This retirement thing seems to turn you into a saint who never did or said anything wrong. I suspect it was because I was constantly his Union adversary and he's glad to see the back of me.

No such junk in Arillas....

Just got back on the forum due to my computer breaking, but now got a nice new working one and hope you had a fantastic holiday. You both look so relaxed and happy on your photos. I feel like I've missed out as I haven't had my daily fix on the forum for about a month now. anyway sure I'll soon catch up. See you both in September

Update................

Mythos is available in Makro stores :)
My local store had three crates...........they're now in my Garage £23.87 per crate!

I was in a place called Boardwalk about a week ago after me and some friends had been to the cinema and they had bottles of Mythos in the fridge.
I ordered one and it was tasting ok but wasn't the same as being in one of the many bars of Arllas drinking it. Think it was something to do with the ambience !
