Hi

Which are the best for this, of course nice food and wine too!!

Fiona

You have a choice of at least 10 tavernas which are all on the sea front and therefore have a great view of the sunsets.  We all have our own personal favourites, but as you walk along the road and read the menus you will probably make up your own mind!!
If you click the Arillas Map link in yellow on the left hand side of the page you will see where the tavernas are and you'll probably find information on all of them within the forum pages.
Enjoy!

Hi Scowellfan
I reckon that most of the seafront restaurants are pretty good.  Have tried several and not been disappointed.  My favourite though is the Horizon.  They have also got an upstairs sunset viewing balcony where you can get a great view of the setting sun.
This picture was taken in June 2007 and shows the view you get from the Horizon.

Best wishes

What a beautiful picture, Patrick - can't wait to go there and experience Arillas for first time.

That really is a gorgeous picture.  Can't wait til our first trip too - a week tomorrow!

Will have to go to the Horizon and see it for ourselves!

You will not be dissapointed at the sunset from any restaurant on the front and I doubt you will have a problem with the food or wine . SO ENJOY

The Sun Set picture is super, if this is you first visit then you better be prepared for the hundreds of sun sets your going to see from the beach in Arillas, because you WILL return time and time again.  This is something I have pledged to do following my first visit

A bit off subject, but would previous visitors definitely recommend booking at Brouklis?  (Probably a question for Dimitris really!)  I don't know which night we'd like to go but if we absolutely have to book then I will...

Dear Smoosh
Julia and I dined at the Brouklis one evening in June this year.  We had one of his specialities - a sort of leek pie - can't remember the name - but we both enjoyed it.  Not only that Dimitris was kind enough to chat to us between courses.
You can't miss the Brouklis - there is a blue sign oposite it on a telegraph pole with the web-site address on it!
Have a great holiday

Hi Kes,

Your photos certainly whetted my appetite, I'm raring to go now.

I particularly like the 'streets and buildings of Arillas' pics as some of them took me a few seconds to suss out where they were taken.  A treat to look at Arillas with a fresh eye:-)
