Glenda you haven't got a photo on  here so that's not fair, you can hide ha ha ha.  Did sau to Miock that I would play the Arillas song on my phone loudly and see who got a dreamy look on their faces.  I can't seem to get excited this time think it's with taking mam, sure I will be fine once I am there.

Eggy, Calum has just gone in the garage to look fore his darts ha ha that will keep him busy today (practising).

Mick , Jill & Calum,

You will welcomed here with open arms as will John R and others. I have a sneaky suspicion that Calum will beat me as does young Paneeottie ( Dimitris son )

Temps here today were a modest 23 deg ish and rain tonite. It all sits very well in our tolerance levels though. ( 19 deg in house at gone midnight and not cold at all )

Spent a very nice evening at Rainbow with Steve n Lisa and now ready for a lil ole kip.

Arillas today? - Will be like Arillas tomorrow. Greeeeeat. ( Fast show again )

ps - As I was typing the rain has picked up and it's now so noisy out there that I may have to turn the TV up a notch or two ,on the volume. Tomorrow a.m. and we'll all be saying " Rain? - Wot rain "

Hi Folk
Julia & I are having a great holiday.  As I write am sitting in the Splish Splash snack bar and the rain is pouring down.  Two great lightning flashes and accompanying bangs woke everyone up about an hour ago and we are just hoping for a glimpse of blue sky.
Have had two weeks of mostly good weather so can cope with a little setback.  The sea is warm and there is a good deal of sand on the central beach.
Couldn't access the north beach this morning because of high waves and the need to wade at three points.  Was OK yesterday, but not today.
Instead headed to the south beach and had a good morning.  The weed which some years infests that part of the beach is entirely gone and there are a few good areas of open sand.  However the tide comes up to the cliffs for quite a way so some wading is needed down there.
Hope all beach bums appreciate this on the spot report on the state of the beach.
By the way, Dimitris told me that 15 years ago he used to race up and down the whole beach in an old banger with his mates.  He reckons the beach will soon return to its old state with plenty of sand.
There is still lots of sand in St George's Bay, and at San Stefanos.
Best wishes
Pat

He's not kidding! The thunder was seriously loud, and it's still raining.

Where yer been lad?

And... Maggie aint kidding when she says that you aint kidding.

Arillas today eh? - Well I found a very stroppy beach with those bits of white foam you usually only see on the muzzle of a rabid dog.
(Seriously high waves as PJ said - And ,did I see some some lost speedos in the sea?)

Interesting though that some people were still playing "horizontal statues" on sunbeds
Temps around the 23 deg mark which started to drop, I think, around 4 pm.

That's when the rain started and I drove home to Wegg n Kavadaddes in a downpour.
More water than Noah could dream about and poor 'ole Punto feeling the strain.
( Punto , like me, only thinks water is for Ouzo )

Couldn't play darts in case that lighting shot down the barrels as I was holding them.

Wotsitallabout? Still raining here at 6pm so hope to go white water rafting later.

PJ sums it up though. - "JULIE AND I ARE HAVING A GREAT HOLIDAY"
Do your worst Nature - It won't mean diddley squat to our enjoyment.

I think the rain will be here most of this evening. Sometimes the weather has to make a statement or two. Normal service will be resumed as soon as.....................

Cheers

(from a 20 deg North Corfu at 6pm. - So still no need to put the central heating on!)

Eggy

23 deg here at 6pm and a much cooler Arillas today. The rain has kept away and many people who leave Monday are hoping for a nice sunny going away present avrio.

Steve n Lisa looking well as are Mick n Jill n Calum and mum Beatty.
( They walked to Agios Stephanos today - Wotsallthatabout? )

Anyway fun time this pm. I now need to find the annonymous forum pals who left me bombay mix n jelly babies in Brouklis. - Who was that?
Must find out and hope we meet. So many nice people on the Forum. So many goodies
( All so very welcome )

No rain forecast for tonite so the 'ole fingies crossed we get a dry day tomorrow.

Cheers All
