Jo

I did come to the Marinaki twice but, to be honest, felt a bit like a peeper of the TOM sort looking around the pool area. And scanning the beach area opposite.
I didn't like to come in peering around sunbeds in case I got arrested or look at any lady who was in bikini etc plus big hubbie on next bed.
"Looking for Forum Member" would not have been beleived , I think.
Got the Darts bits . Have a good Sunday at Brouklis.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

For you lot in the UK I can tell you it's been , not only a hottie today, with a 37 deg "shaded" temp still at 6:15pm, but also a busy 'ole time.
 A greek holiday , I'm told.

Plus, the Italians are on their way, ready for the August rush. Many a "CHOW" was heard in Brouklis, by me today. Add out Italian freinds to the usual "Athens Greeks" that come back year after year, and put in a fine sprinkling of our German regulars, plus a smidgeon, maybe of French ( Yes they do make an appearance ) and we have the recipe for a busy well cooked August.
( Last year a few Americans appeared and Polish and some Roumanians are here now)

Any "Brits" around in August? Sure they are. And if you're one of them you may enjoy listening to the mixed languages in Tavernas and on the beach. - They're all good people folks, loving Arillas like you. Take the time for a chat if the opportunity arises. Nobody bites in Arillas - Except maybe a dog.- Ask Phil about that though!

Cheers
Negg

No John. Our dear friend Anna has arranged that if I send her a text, she will close the dog.

Listen all, you can dine out on it. But Olga is another dear friend of ours and we will work it out. We will work it out. Beatles anyone? I can't even remember the title of the song, but maybe our Terry will help me. (videos and links coming up....) Thanks Terry.

Arillas was perfect for us as you might expect. This month they are facing the onslaught of all the world who know what is on offer. Dimitris said to me about all the inappropriate behaviour he expects next week. I said "Well we are here now." He said "Phil you are nothing" It is the first time in my life I took that as a sincere compliment.

And to upset the apple-cart, a beautiful compliment he made was  "Phil you have the body of a Greek man, and Jen has the bottom of a Greek woman." Well, I really understand that. It is part of me. Clearly Greek women understand what men want.

Listen, I will shut up now, Dimitris said "Oh it's you again. just mark it as read." Well kalinichta luvver. And Efkharisto. Parakalo. And thank you for a fantastic beautful two weeks.

Phil

It's a bummer to hit a hummer. - Sorry , just had to be said. - Poetry class over!

Arillas Today? - But....
.......... first last night. - Who remembers the post "water from Arillas" by Gotty & Liz?
We met Gotty and Liz, last night at Brouklis, plus their little bundle of joy, Fillippo.
The water from Arillas has played it's part and helped make a lovely little boy who seemed quite content to stay out of the limelight and let Mum n Dad enjoy a little prime time together.
( Water from Arillas is under general chat for those who may have missed it )

I read it with one year delay.

Maybe this year the second one.....
