Thanks all - I'm fine although a slight twinge in the knee.

Insurance doesn't cover this is as no one else was involved.
It's called  "Comprehensive" but not the comprehensive we all know. There is a fully comp type but it can come in at around 500 euros a year and is only available to newer cars.

That's twice now I've pranged the Pug. ( Three times if you count the wing mirror! )

Why they happen when I'm way under the UK legal limit puzzles me.
Maybe I just daydream a bit when sober and concentrate more after a couple of ouzos and at night.  We've hired a car for the next few days so ouzos will be taking the back seat. - Only Iced coffee and a beer. - It'll play havoc with my darts though.
Cheers All

Glad you are ok Eggy. I remember the year when I was walking back from Afionas and slipped on olives coming down that really steep bend in the road.....I was in agony for the rest of the holiday.

I shall be a bit nervous driving next week...

Me too glad you are ok Neil, and that you had the presence of mind to manouvre the car to the safe side of the road and at least it's only the car that's hurt
Take Care

Car and pride Mary - Scoreline reads 3 to me 0 to Wegg.

Sandy - I'm sure you'll be fine. Just keep  away from that Magoulades Road.
( I'm going via Arillas in future )

Glad it was only the car that got damaged Eggy!  Are you going to go for a moped now?

Blimey Neill you scared us!  So glad that you are OK.  So long as it's just the car that's hurt, as you say that can be repaired.  Take care, look after yourself and love to Wendy & Megg.  See you soon.  W n S. xx

I hadn't realised how dangerous the roads can be due to olives until Spiros, from the Horizon, told me about it last summer. I'm glad you OK Eggy.

Now, do you want to but some slick tyres for the 206? :-)

Sorry to hear about your 'prang' Neil. As long as you are O.K. that's all that matters. Cars are only a bit of tin wiv a motor! Must have been quite a shock, but glad all is well. It was that Greek Easter bunny running across in front of you that caused it! Will buy you a large ouzo in four weeks time in the Rainbow!
Yammas,
Martin.

A large Ouzo sounds good to me Martin - Thanks.

No Arillas Today pics flks but there is still a lot going on! We have a super day with a 23 deg reading in the shade.

Meanwhile , all I can offer you is a picture of the moth that tried to sneak in the lounge, last night, and carry off our sleeping Meg.

And... Talking of Meg. This is her first summer as a "grown up" She's been celebrating recently by bringing us home a few gifts. Current score is :-
One mouse , One bird , A small snake and a gi-normous rat. ( Country living I 'spose )
I managed to save the snake but no far too late for the others.

Cheers All
