Hi Dimitris.

It looks really good, wish we were there.

Could you please just explain to me and Pete where exactly this takes place.

Thanks

Lesley :)

And he says he doesn't drink wine!!  I hope he had one or two for me and Keith!!!

From the webcam I can see that its a bit muggy today, is that because of all the muggy heads from the festival?!?

Hope you're all having a fab time out there, keep the pictures coming!

Lesley, the festival is held opposite the veg garden place. Just up the road from Brouklis, on the same side of the road. Hope that helps.

Hope you are keeping my bed warm.

Hmmmm ! - Riggers - A hard question to answer !
On the scrap heap of life with the only employment available as a bedwarmer!
6 euros an hour but someone gotta do it!

I was at the Nut and the Bow this pm but never found you.  Hope you haven't started to believe those rumours.
( Just because someone was found upside down, in a wheely bin and a red Pug was seen driving away does not point to me! )
Maybe Sunday matey!

Arillas today was a very muggy 29 deg. A  bit o breeze on the beach making the  waves work overtime.

I think the timing was just rigt as "partners" found a very good excuse to use all the local bar facilities and take in the Man Utd v Liverpool match.

The following pic may just reflect a twinge of that

Many brollies spread around but many bodies "missing".

Rain is forecast for tomorrow but I think we will have a big ole splurge on Monday.
( And the following next two days may be a bit on the wild side )
But, what do I know?

The wine celebration went well, last night, so I'm told. Maybe too well as I didn't see Phil n Jen all day. - Whatever- They are still having a good time!
It must have been a good night as I didn't even "White Van Man" telling us the location of these good people today.

Finally - For cat lovers only.
"Megg" has had her next shot of injections and is targeted for a next course plus spaying in 4 weeks time.
It doesn't seem to bother her that we are paying a small fortune to keep her in the life to which she has now been accustomed!

Strange to  think that this Megg has never seen rain.
(She's fascinated, with the hose, when Wegg waters the garden )

We think Arillas and surrounding areas are in for a big thunderstorm and strong winds coming off the sea very soon.
The "cannie locals" seem to know and I'm told pedaloes are off the beach and boats are well moored.
Rumbles in the sky as I type. It's a little on the dark side and a very humid 26 deg.

Some rain overnight but this morning you would never have noticed.
Now time to sit back and see what nature has to offer us.
Exciting innit?

Cheers
Negg

Fortunately for us but unfortunately for the cat we were inside when the weather changed. - Megg, I think was traumatised somewhere!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

At 1:15 ish today the skies darkened and, together with claps of thunder plus a little lightening thrown in , down it came. In the space of 45 minutes Wegg's outside guage recorded 30mm of rain. It was so dark that the outside sensor lights came on.
The temp dropped very quickly from 27 deg to 21 deg outside.
We were hoping to sit outside, under the balcony, but the breeze that came with it would have carried us off somewhere. - Just like Dorothy in Wizard of Oz.
I tried this pic, with the flash, but not too successful. - But gives you an idea though.

The football track leading to our house now has more "dips" in it than a pickpockets yearly average.

And, Arillas today at 2:45 ish was thus:-

However, all was not lost as, there was a Grand Prix being shown, followed by Football.
Needless to say that all bars were doing a very good trade. ( What else to do- Eh? )

Kevin n Beverly are home tomorrow and I wish them both a very safe journey.
( I have yet to work out why I pay a fortune for darts/Flights and get soundly beaten by someone who just "picks up a set!)

Riggers is still as lively as ever and here another week.

Phil n Jen are alive and well - Even after two nights wine festivalling.

Paul n Maria, who never seem phased by the weather, are pottering around nicely.

PG32 ( Paul n Mike and wives ) go home today. - We hope all is well with them as they came out with Excel.

The same too with "Peckedhen" - Not a nice ending to a good holiday!

And Blondgirl + Hub have now been found and possibly on for coffee on Weds a.m.
Tonight we see Wendy n Stu - Lets hope the rain stays away for a while.

Cheers All
Negg
