Arillas today takes me to "Beach Kostas" where a suitable 26deg and nice Ouzo were a celebration to the return of Wegg, from the UK, yesterday.
and..... Lin n Jim must have felt I still needed fattening up as they donated 2 of their chicken rolls to go with my drinkie. - (People at another table never even offered to share their chips!!!)
Lin (Linda) has the same same as the "Kostas Dog". So now I understand , when previously, I said  "Wanna Biscuit " Linda? ,, she turned around. Good job I didn't say "Get off the chair and back on the floor"
anyway... we were all worried when a scrap lorry went past and then reversed , looking at my Punto !!

A good afternoon made even better by bumping into Derek n Heather who used to reside here but have never forgotten Arillas and pals.

and.......... tonight I get a decent chicken curry ,courtesy of Wegg , for all my household chores completed over the last 6 weeks. (Except I never washed the grill pan of changed the chip oil) CANNEE-WIN-EM-ALL.
and............ still a busy 'ole time here with more cars than parking spaces.
Wegg came in on a full Easyjet yesterday evening. - Airport chaos with 3 flights arriving near the same time
Cheers
Negg

Kevin
I don't think Wendy would like to see you "Skinny Dipping" - But she has a good sense of humour and would probably ask if you have lost weight (where??) or good to see you have those life preservers around yer waist, and they are flesh coloured !!

Meanwhile.... I thought I had gone back in time this afternoon to an August Arillas.
No where to park and a 28 deg temp and a busy 'ole time.

Cheers
Negg

A nice Arillas Sunday where peeps do their own thing as does my Punto.
(I feed it petrol and it still finds every "Road Hole" just to annoy me!!)

Around 30 deg at 18:15 and if the temp drops a tad then many Tavernas will be relaxed , laid back and busy tonight. - (Laid back?? - Not the way to drink an Ouzo)

and who was it I met at Tria, earlier? - No good on names but he gets my vote as he promised to let me beat him at darts, on a Zimmer frame, next Summer.
No problem for me as I can borrow the Zimmer from Kevin.
(He wears it in bed - DONCHYERKNOW? under his pyjama bottoms. )
Cheers

Graham ... thought twas  you and sorry it took so long for you to get back to a relaxing Kay, by the pool.
When I left Tria I told Phil to get you a cold towel, for yer ears, to cool 'em down -
( I "rabbit" for England ... DONCHYERKNOW?)
anyway.... you put an A-Z posting on without a pic...
....... living dangerously... Kevin has been known to hit people with a wet fish for less than that.

Today gives us a modest 26/27deg and tis a tad quieter. - Only a tis though.
A beer at Rainbow for me , today and then home for some "orse racin" - Not me .. on TV.
I like Rainbow and I like Tria. They are places to chill.
Actually there are not many places or things I dislike.
.....But I don't like it when Wegg puts sandpaper in my underwear when I mis-behave.
.....  and a place I never visit is my shed if temps are above 26deg. - Garden work will have to wait!!!.

It is good to see that the end of September brings much joy for not only guests but for the guys who ensure their premises were perfect, before you came , and have the satisfaction that you enjoy and appreciate them. - (you would not beleive all the re-vamps they do in the Winter and probably not notice it all)

26 deg outside at 18:30 and I now have to shower and check then check underwear for that "gravel paper"
Cheers

Arillas today took me to Tria and say "Kalo Taxidi" to M&M (Mick and Mary) who leave us on Friday.
They always have a good time and it is my pleasure to sit and chat with them.
I wish them both well.

I am sure I will bump into others before the Season ends. So many ears to burn-So little time.
Cheers

Hi Karl,
Difficult to call this one as bookings are linked with contracts.
If Rainbow and Tria , for example get a late booking then it must be honoured. I have seen Rainbow open , at the end of Season with just 2 couples as have Tria. Of course these guests are well looked after but we must ask the question .. "Is it worth it keeping a kitchen and bar open??"
Course tis... A late booking this Summer could be a 4 week booking next year. - Good business sense.
But much work to be done at "Season Close" and Winter work busy for all.
(Greeks have homes and gardens to maintain as well)

Bottom line? .... I think week 3 in October is a wind down and many places closed.
Brouklis as always will "Go Down With The Ship" - Capt Dimi never says die!!!
Thallasa will chase him but Efi's and the like will quietly say "Nuffs a Nuff"

Places like Marvel and Beach Kostas will plod on. They always look after latecomers and keep us locals going.
Armourada will never go away and Vasillis will always tell you "In the fridge, serve yourself"
I luv that!! - He's a good 'ole boy.

Meanwhile 24 deg outside at 7pm and a roastie chickie beckons! - Weggs is back!!!
Cheers
Negg

Cheers mate. An interesting insight into the winding down !
I almost forget Marvel exists, I haven't been in there for 8 years on our first visit with my oldest daughter when she was 8 to use the pool.
She got told off for climbing on the island 😂
It hadn't got the lovely table and chairs on it then and a bridge over to it.
I'll pop in next year 🙂
