Waking up??? I have forgotten how. Some would call it a waste, but I have been sleeping in till 10am ever since. And I feel so well I can't describe. Yes, our Arillas friends are busy working on everything for the benefit of us all this 2015 season.

The new Ice Skating Rink is well underway and may be ready by 1st May. I have declined the post of manager - too much like hard work, to which I have been diagnosed as allergic. I can also report that the new siting of the bench opposite Brouklis has been met with much debate. But let's face it - the sea won't destroy this one so it will last forever.

Arillas Today is again very sunny with wisps of high cloud, but SO inviting. So guess what? We have decided that the short walk to the beach is just too much, and we will be located here at Marvel all day, in front of our "ten green bottles."

Yammas!!!!!!
Phil

Phil,

Give Billy a clip round the ear next time you see him. That's for what he hasn't told me that he's done!

Your reports are fabulous, Phil, thank you so much, the joy oozes out of every word!  Is Billy the young man who worked with Gary last year?  If so I spent a lovely couple of hours chatting to him last September in the Coconut, we really put the world's to rights, very nice lad.  Keep these coming Phil we want to share almost all your holiday, love to Jen xx

You get two Arillas Todays.

PhilnJen decided to do NOTHING today. But we also welcomed Anne and Phil who are now safely installed in Eleni's place. We shared a wine or three before they unpacked the camper van. Doing nothing in Arillas is not an option for us. Right now it is HOT and sunny, Jen is asleep having our Greek siesta. Arillas Tonight will see us fed and watered by Sofia atv Marvel. I could write a book about this silly little  place which dominates my life, But I WOULD BORE YOU TO TEARS.....

OMG!...20deg at 5pm...

and here's me feeling happy that it's finally stopped raining here in Leicester today and the sun has actually been shining! But 20 degrees, it is sadly not. So I'll still be packing our winter woollies and raincoats for our Easter break at the caravan!

It all sounds as spectacular as ever...soooo jealous! Can't wait till August!
Thanks again for the great posts...just keep them coming pleeease!

Cheryl, I think Billy is Jez's son but no doubt Jez will confirm unless he's done something that bad that he is going to disown him! Surely not!

I thought the bench, like the ice skating rink was an April's fool. Yes?

It's OK as I gave the local council an ultimatum.

Either my 'ole Punto on the end of the pier or the bench...... So guess what?

April is a funny 'ole month indeed.

Bore me Phil!! It would be an international best seller, then a film, then you and Jen would even more famous than you are now. As long as you'll still remember us ;-)

My dear wife was quite excited about the ice rink! told her to pack some willies, so she could go on it!
Told her I had got her some blue prawns from Aldi, because the Atlantic was colder this year, and she said okay, defrost me some!

Roll on the spaghetti harvest!
