Phil,.love the updates. Made me laugh...so it's not just me and Bob who find that there's no point in making plans...just go with the Arillas flow. Enjoy your lunch (liquid or otherwise) in HQ Brouklis  ( that is, of course, if you've made it there....) See you both soon x

Thanks guys. We got as far as Thalassa, sat in our favourite chairs and whiled away a couple of hours with Mythos and pineapple juice, and a whole crossword. Leave yous to work out who had what.

It is now very hot here - way above my earlier estimate. I would guess 33 at least. Poor Spiros had quite a few lunch guests and was working his socks off. But as usual he found time to natter and share with PhilnJen.

I will quote Poppy "we are HONOURED to be part of this Arillas family." And all of the individual families who put it all together for us. All their guests are important to them, but somehow you can feel like you are the only ones.

Phil

We didn't know Neill. We just soaked up our Arillas. Back to Bardis and playing Nana Mouskouri on youtube. Everyone has been so polite. But they all still buggered off to escape the notes. I can clear an Arillas bar in seconds....... And nobody ever tells me what I did wrong, even when I ask.

Sad to miss yous today. We had an inkling after your post, but our injured legs, backs and stomachs are still reeling from our first few days here. Arillas Today is a pack of lies. I have cuts, bruises and allergic reactions, but I'm sorry medears, I'd have to be dead rather than not be here. I meant every word. This is the 4th Arillas Today. today. I think yous might understand how passionate and determined I feel, covered in bruises, but at Bardis Sun planning bakery bread, Corfu tomatoes and lurpack butter, cheese from UK, and voddie frappe.  We have all of them in our room courtesy of dear friends. Kalinichta.

Phil, as usual, fabulous reports. When do you find the time to write, amongst all that Mythos fuelled wonderful days, catching up with old friends?

I`m pinching this line, Phil.

Ar risk of boredom.... It is warm but not too hot in Arillas Today. Some will find it differently, but there is a tiny breeze and I think it is perfect. Nothing new there then.....

A magic afternoon was spent with Lezeck and Ang, one of whom landed from the 6am Gatwick flight and joined us in Sharon's complete with luggage. The love-birds made PhilnJen look like a staid old couple. No, we were not embarassed, but full of memories of exactly how it feels. Then we learned they've only been separated for a few days. On reflection, Jen and me were exactly the same.

We also met Clare and Len&Sandra. Much beer was consumed, much hot air was exchanged and we were all treated to a sight of Lezecks very white rear end. Very briefly, and in perfectly good taste I hasten to add.

For PhilnJen Arillas Today was overflowing with love, friendship and joy. But whoever reads this, yous all know that it always does. I shout it on forum, at College and in Arillas. And I AM NOT WRONG!

Blown away doesn't begin to describe my Arillas Today.

We were feeling really ashamed that after all these days we have not said hello to so many beloved friends.

Then in total defeat we said "let's just go round the corner to Vinceremo." And then we shared an hour with a stunningly beautiful Eileen who had left all of her jewellery and makeup at home, and is looking better than I have ever seen her. I also complimented Keith who is also looking amazing, and if I swung that way I would have a difficult choice to make.

Arillas Today has blown me away, had me in bits, and then shared 7 star Metaxa with Poppy Bardis. Arillas Today? It is better than any of yous think.

I am "amayonaised" at how many Forum friends are here.

We have Clare(Bella) looking after Yiotas new shop, opposite Armourada.
Phil n Jen looking after the Mythos and keeping Coconut etc on their toes.
Soon we will have Ref John n Dot , maybe looking after Phil?
Riggers n Sue keeping Kaloudis company + Riggs keeping me company.
Steve n Carol and Steve n Mary and now Sandy bombing around and churning up the Rainbow pool, every morning.  Eileen n Keith haven't gone away yet and rumour has it that Cypress is in hiding with Pam . ( Or maybe just relaxing somewhere )
"Chris12" currently keeps Phillipe on his toes at Tria Adelphia and surprised me with an ouzo t'other day. Yet another face I recognised but just couldn't get a name to. - Bet I have left a few out

So many peeps , so little time.

Darts at Rainbow Tuesday evening when many will be there to socialise and not play.
Mexican food will be the evening special.

We start Arillas today with 22deg and a tad cloudy.

Over to our super roving reporter whose reports we all eagerly await.
and.... Good to see "Whispers" open - We need a report on that as well , Phil. C'mon ! Keep up!

Eggy mate, I will never keep up with all of what is available, and available to everyone here. In all the years I have been coming (and I have learned that everyone I meet has been here more often and stayed longer than me) I have realised that you have to choose.

In truth, you need to live here to get anywhere near doing it all. And from those who do, I get the impression that it is, in fact impossible.

Arillas Today is cooler and cloudier. I would guess about 22 degrees (or did I just read that????) Many many forum folk are either in town or on their way. PhilnJen will do our best to greet them all, but apologise in advance for any we miss.

Arillas Tonight will see a tradition relived - John and Dot with PhilnJen at Brouklis. And as usual everyone is welcome to join us.

My thermometer is saying 25 Phil....

Only 'cause you've been to Rainbow and eyeing up the new recruit behind the bar, Sandy.
