The Ornate wrasse (Γαϊτανούρι), Thalassoma pavo, is a species of wrasse native to the rocky coasts of the eastern Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea. This species is of minor importance to local commercial fisheries, is also popular as a game fish, and can be found in the aquarium trade.
Ornate wrasse, Thalassoma pavo, like to eat the tube feet of sea urchins, but as the urchins keep their feet buried in the sea bed the wrasse can’t get to them easily if you breake one open the fish go into a frenzy
