Hi Dimitris

Just wanted to say that we had several fantastic meals at the Brouklis.  This is the first year we have been to Brouklis as we dont normally walk that far from the sea front.

We will definitly be back next year (with or without the crazy shirts).

Thanks for such a great time.

I have to say that we have been to Arillas 15 times now and from the 1st time until the last (May) we have never had anything other than an excellent meal at Brouklis.  It's traditional home cooked food, tasty, great quality and great service.  We love to see what's on the special board in a morning and book for that night.  We try other places but every few days we have to go back there, especially for the spit roast lamb (Sunday & Wednesday).  This year I tried the homemade moussaka for the first time and it was amazing.  And, it's really good price wise.  So, long may it continue and nice to see someone writing about it.  Sometimes we forget to state the obvious!  Well done.  W n S.

Helen (wife) and I, also had some wonderful meals at the Brouklis, and it was also our first visit to Arillas.

I had the fish stew twice and I think it is one of the best dishes I have ever had in Greece, particularly with the wonderful potatoes that are cooked in the stew.

The Ga-lacto-bou-reko desert was to die for. Dimitris tried very hard to show me how to pronounce it correctly hence the way I have spelt it. Dimitris's sister makes it and I think that nobody should go to Arillas without tasting it.

I must say that Dimitris is one of the nicest persons I have had the pleasure of meeting, and the two waiters were wonderful.

Eating at Brouklis isn't just a meal, it is an experience, that will be remembered for a very long time.

Yes, yes, yes! Brouklis is great - food, atmosphere, and waiters....!
In two weeks in Arillas we ate at Brouklis more than anywhere else, even though we didn't have a bad meal anywhere

Yes totally agree the food is delicious but one of the other things i like is that you get veg with your meal.  Normally when you are on holiday you do not see any vegetables with any meals!!

Fiona

I'm with you there Shuey.  Love my vegetables, especially those served at Brouklis, but they do seem hard to come by unless you specifical ask for them in other restaurants.

I agree...the vegetables in Brouklis are excellent and of course fresh every day. I have had vegetables elsewhere in Arillas but sadly they are usually frozen.

When we have been to Sidari in the past they used to serve frozen carrots and peas (yuk).  When we have driven through the past few years there doesn't look many decent places to eat now.  Too many fast food places.  Not my idea atall.  One thing i look forward too on holiday is the evening and having decent food and wine in a relaxed atmosphere!

I reckon that one of the waiters from Brouklis is on this video and I guess some other people  could be recognised as well .........
