Hi we are flying to corfu tomorrow for our 2 weeks in Arillas.  Because we have a 15 month old and had heard horror stories about the manos transfer we have decided to hire a car with pick up from the airport.

Just wondering if anyone had any advice about the best/eaiest route to take from the airport?

any ideas appreciated!

Hi Sharon
Take a look at "Arillas General Info". You should find "A bit more Travel Advice" .
Eileen has clear instructions how to get away from Corfu Airport and the Town.
I can't find where Harold put further instructions on how to get to Arillas though.
If someone out there finds it then let us know as Mrs Eggs parents are bringing themselves from the Airport, in a hire car, in September.

Hi Sharon
If you had time to arrange for the hire car to be delivered to Arillas (If you have booked one for the duration)then get a taxi from the airport, for me that would be the best route as getting out from the airport can be a bit hairy especially if you have to navigate and keep the little one happy.

Hi Sharon,

As Negg say's take a look at the instructions that I posted on an earlier topic.  if  you pm me your email address I will send you the instructions which follow on from the one's I have already posted.
I'm on my way out now, but I will send them later on this evening.

Eileen.

You couldn't copy me in on that one maybe.?
Giving directions are not one of my strongpoints.

Be aware it's not a nicest of journeys but with those directions at least some of the odds are in your favour.
I drove once, after a night flight, at 4 a.m. It was dark and "Drizzley" and I probably took an hour and a quarter to get to Arillas.
( I Bashed the car as well but we won't talk about that )
Have you got a daytime flight?
