Hi all

I am going to get my travellers cheques and some euros this week.  I know Marks and Spencer usually have a good exchange rate.  Does anyone know their rates or anybody else who are giving good rates.

Any advice is much appreciated.

thanks
Amanda

I got mine from M&S a few weeks ago and they gave me 1.43. When I checked the same day with the Post Office, they were only giving 1.40 so I reckon M&S are as good as it gets......

P.S. I sometimes think it's the luck of the draw on the day as of course the rates are changing all the time. good luck!

someone who just came back from arillas said the exchange out there was 145 to the pound on the blogs last week.so maybe change up out there.

That sounds much better.  I think we will get a few to tide us over for a meal etc. when we get there and get the rest later on.  I dont mind the PO for a few euros as its more convenient and we leave on Monday.  I can remember when it was 1.75 years ago, gradually its come down over the years as you would expect.

blondegirl

We dont go to Arillas untill August but changed some money into euros earlier in the year.We got 147 to the pound. We wont change anymore till we get to Corfu as it always is a better rate there.

blondegirl

I think that was here.. I just type in currency exchange find a site and it converts GBP into euros.
