Hi Blondegirl!

Where in Shetland do Brenda and John live? It can be difficult getting onto and off the Shetland isles. You can fly but obviously weather dictates this so the majority go by boat which can be a nightmare!! From Aberdeen it takes 12 hours!! We went last October for my Father in laws 70th and the journey coming home was bad! My dinner did not stay down very long put it that way!! But it was worth it as it is such a wonderful place to go. I also love Cornwall and some of that coast line is similar in ways to Shetland.

We live in Lerwick. Not very good views here today unless you like seascapes.. Pouring with rain and a south easterly gale.

Hi Brenda and John

My father in law lives in Hillswick and has done now for about 30 years. He moved up their for work on the oil rigs then drilling and fell in love with the place and stayed. My wife lived up there for a few years when she was younger and went to Sandwick school. I love it up there, its such a lovely place.

Brenda and John.... I cant quite see who is in your login photo... my eyes arent that good!  Wot on earth are you doing?

Weather nice and dry here in Surrey today, thank goodness.  Its raining in Arillas though.
If you want the rainbow, you gotta put up with the rain.

I  think its you and John!  I thought you were opening prezzies but now I think you are sitting on chairs.  My eyes are soooooo bad!
