It's been so long since I emailed BA/GB airways regarding the new direct flights to Corfu that I had quite forgotten all about it.  In my email asked if they would consider continuing the flights off season if there was enough support during the summer season.

Anyway at long last I have received a reply, which looks kind of promising for a once a week flight.

Dear Ms. McIntyre

Re: London Gatwick/ Corfu

Thank you for taking the time to visit our website.

We do not intend to operate these flight through the Winter period and the last flight is the
end of October. At the moment this route is still under review as it is very new and stars in
May, but there is a possibility that they could consider a one flight a week off season flight
please check the website www.ba.com on a regular basis for any changes.

Yours sincerely

Well its a start isnt it, i think that a few people have seen the temperatures during the winter in Arillas on here and i reckon a few more people will be trying to get over there for a winter break.
