Tenuous link to this current thread, but, the temperature shown on the right hand side of the webcam is, I think at the airport, is there a temperature shown for Arillas itself?

If not what is it?

Here's hoping.

Cheers

I always thought I preferred the pool because Ive always been too scared to swim in the sea, but I thought Id give it a try - and I loved it! Its so relaxing especially just bobbing up and down on the waves, and one day we took a lilo down to the beach when the waves were really big and tried surfing on it ha! Ive never had so much fun in my life! Although Ive got to say Im not keen on the feel of sand between my legs and in my hair :)
TOO excited for my long awaited return to Arillas - Sept 2016!! :-D

By the way - what is the temperature of the water in the sea?
Just interesting, while we are living at the Baltic sea and 20 degrees is a lot for our sea.

I love the sea but I can't help swimming so far out then in my head I hear, Der dum, der dum, dum, dum, dum, dum. I then imagine a big fin heading towards me.

Hi Everyone & LauraUldis
Sorry I don't know the sea temperature in Arillas.  Would love to know though.  In May this year is was plenty warm enough for swimming so by now it should be great.
Last year in Kos saw a chap with a tent/windbreak on the beach.  He had a thermometer hung up inside it.  Eventually he took it out and checked the sea temperature.  I'd never seen anyone do that before, very thorough, must he German (ha ha)!
Best wishes to all
Pat

We just returned in Aug and I can confirm that the sea was still quite cold. It was very 'refreshing' but-my god-that first dunk never failed to take my breath away! That said I still spent lots of hours submerged!

Nice stars you wearing for swimming Jo :D
Life is good ;)

Prefer the beach as it would be far too hot midday for a game of pool ;-)

I like both. I like going in the sea till 4.00pm say. Then go into the swimming pool. This is a nice feeling as the sea in June was quite cold some days and it was just nice to get in the warm pool and feel refreshed. So I think they are both great in there own ways.

Hope this helps this mass post! :P

I'm the exact opposite Dan. I like going in the pool for a good swim before everyone else gets in.....then I love being on the beach till the sun goes down. Bliss....

I don't really mind which order I do it in - I just like both every day, whenever!  :D

Hi,everyone. For Heather and I, it`s got to be the beach. You can`t beat a cooling breeze, the sound of the sea etc. Once you get too hot, a quick cooling dip and then maybe a stroll along the shoreline. People watching is fascinating to. One year we saw this couple who were reading. But every so often the bloke would lift his head and just stare at people thinking nobody knew what he was doing. It wasn`t a casual glance either. When he looked in our direction, I just stared back. Thank God not everybody is like him.  I have to say that everyone we have ever met on  the beach were really friendly people- always willing to chat.
