Hi Everyone;

Looking for information on whats it like in Arilas during the second week of May. We have only been in July and August. Any information on the weather,is it warm enough to swim in the sea,will there be any mosquitoes,is it quiet or busy, are all the bars open etc.
It will be our silver wedding and my wife says its  has to be Arilas, [ I couldn't agree more ]

Thanks

John

the resort is normally quiet, some of the traverners are only just opening. i have been the last few years in may, have come back fully relaxed and with a tan. I have found it the same as later in the year and have always beable to get any think i want from the shops. alex

Hi John,

I think May would be an excellent time to go before it gets to busy in the peak summer months. I was out at the start of June this year and my mum told me it was hotter in May.

The first time i went to Arillas was last May and we flew on the 5th, it was lovely and hot and everywhere was open and we had a great time, the temperature was just right, late 70's early 80's and 2 days late 80's so we got a lovely tan.

Booked for next year we go on the 21st May, cant wait!!

We usually go 1st & second week in May,
always been lovely weather, most taverner's open,
had about 48hrs of rain in 4years, but loads of mozzie bits,
all in all a lovely time to be in Arillas, but when isn't.
