PLF - Passenger Locator Form - guidance
« on: July 20, 2020, 12:20:10 PM »
Hi Folks

Could anyone give a definitive answer to whether each traveller is required to fill out a separate PLF?

I filled ours out last Week and was given the option to add further family members at which point I added Jill to my application.

I have since had email confirmation and we are both down on the form to travel.

However I have seen conflicting opinions of which some state each traveller must fill out their own application individually.

Anyone already done theirs and which option did you take?

Many Thanks

Neil & Jill

Hi yes I have and I think you need to do one each. The PLF gives you a QR code 24 hours before you fly and each person needs their own code when you arrive at the airport. I think you simply add your travel companions so that if you’re tested and have a positive result they know who you have travelled with

I have done for each of us and just added each other on each form also. Better to be safe than sorry. I’ve read that some people have got through with everyone on 1 firm but others have been refused boarding. Why take the chance for the sake of 5 minute job?

You definitely need a form for each person. It might be that only one person is tested as they look at individual codes. A 1 at the front of your QR code denotes a test a 2 at the front denotes no test needed

I arrived last Thursday and as you come through passport control at Corfu airport they ask you to show them the QR code which Is sent to you 24 hours before you travel. My partner and I needed one code each. The code determines if you get Covid tested or not

Sorry Lawty I meant how did you find out that a code beginning with 1 means no test and beginning with does.  Thanks

Hi, sorry - just by talking to people who had or hadn’t been tested. Those people whose QR code started with a 1 got tested and those whose code started with a 2 didn’t get a test. I’m not sure if this will continue to apply as the airport gets busier but it seems to be the case at the moment

Thanks. We are all getting tested 3 days before we leave but still it will be an anxious wait if we are tested on arrival until that 24 hours are up and not heard anything.

Presumably the form needs to be filled in also for the return journey?

Just been looking at this again and it says you only have to fill one in per family.
