Hello. I'm hoping someone (perhaps Eggy?) can point me in the right direction to help a dog which appears to be lost in Arillas?

He has been around since at least last Thursday and seems to be constantly searching for someone he knows. He also attaches to people who show an interest and at times he is so exhausted that he flops down suddenly and goes into a deep sleep.

He is similar to a corgi although larger and has a tan colour coat. He has a collar but no tag.

I have emailed Agni welfare and I'm awaiting a reply but any other ideas from you would be good.

THANK YOU.

Christine

Eggy

Haven't seen him , but I can ask around.

It's not the dog from Vavillas' fish restaurant is it? Is it near there you have seen him? He does wonder around on his own.

Boobis from Vavilas? wandering the village looking for bitch? No way!

Thank you for the replies. I'm really hoping he is from Vavillas but so far all the local people I have asked don't recognise him.

I will keep trying!

He is a lovely dog. Always walks us home.

Cannot shed any light on this little mutt. Probably as with many "roaming" dogs here, they have an owner. If this bothers you very badly I suggest you try and get a piccie and we will put it on the Corfu Grapevine.

Last time we were in arillas , some years ago now there was a puppy tied up to a fence down the road from the Bardis studios just before the bend to the sea front. He was there all the time.  Don't know who he belonged to, he was very friendly, we assumed he belonged to the restaurant but always felt sorry for him.

Ok, I think we have solved the mystery. I asked Tomas at Vavillas and showed him a photo and he confirmed that it definitely isn't his dog.

We were eating at the Night Owl this evening and I showed the photo to Linda who is sure he belongs to a family who live nearby. They haven't owned him for very long. She said she would get a message to them.

Thank you all for your help.

Great. Hope he gets reunited with his family.
