We flew from Birmingham to Belfast a few weeks ago and there was no rules on liquids in hand luggage.

Got the info from the Sunday Mail travel reporter when I asked for an update on this issue last Sunday

Checked Birminghamairport.co.uk and it says ''do not put liquids in plastic bags please leave them loose in your hand luggage. There is no limit to how many 100ml containers you can carry''

Flew from Stansted on Monday and although that airport was not listed in the article they allowed you to leave under 100ml in your hand luggage but leave them in a plastic bag. Also allow you to leave laptops in hand luggage

So worth checking direct with the airports for up to date information

Well second time we have ordered euros online from the post office to collect at our local post office and second time we have been let down.

The first time we arranged collection was a couple of years ago and we turned up at the post office and they had a sign on the door saying they were closed due to staff shortages. This was a Saturday and we were going to Corfu on the Monday. We ended up collecting them on the Monday morning before going to the airport.

This year we thought they had a good rate which runs out today so ordered some Wednesday night to collect from yesterday and within 7 days. My husband went to collect them this morning and queued for 25 minutes only to be told they did not have enough euros and to go back on Tuesday.  Good job it is 3 weeks until we go but we won't be ordering from the post office again.

Have heard that Kaloudis and Mathraki are no longer doing evening meals due to new employment laws
Mathraki bar is open in evenings still
Can anybody confirm these times?

Looks as though pre booking is going to be essential when/if other locations follow suit

Hi I was looking at the Jet2 website 3 weeks ago with a view to booking my holidays in 2026 at the rainbow as i usually book early, but there was no availability all of the 2026 season, I did contact Jimmy and asked if he was still with Jet2 for 2026 and was told that they had not signed anything with them and would keep me informed, 3 weks later no more info forthcoming so it would seem that maybe they have parted with them. If anyone on here [Neil maybe] can find any info on it that would be helpfull, Thanks.
