From looking at the cam, it looks wet and windy in Arillas today (Wed 26th Sep) but I would still rather be there, than here.

blondegirl

I'm glad I wasnt sitting there though!
If you want the rainbow, you gotta put up with the rain.

Well spotted Dimitri....you caught our very tanned lady. I didn't see her in August - maybe she only ventures down into Arillas at quieter times having thoroughly toasted herself at her house!

Shuey

Ahhh.... so thats the lady everyone was talking about!

Smiffypink

Yep thats her, although when we saw her in May she was considerably browner than that, maybe she stays inside a bit more when its really hot!

TerryW

I saw her a few times. The first time I saw her I thought it was Stephanie, the cleaner from the Horizon, but it wasn't. They are both very thin.

I note she hasn't mustered a single vote on the thread "Men, your vote counts"!

Todays (Friday 12th October 2007) picture of the day, reminds me of something stupid that I watched from the beach last July.

A blue car was driving down the track, very slowly, and it got to the bit thats breaking away, as in the picture. The car was there for ages and I guessed that the driver didn't know whether to reverse back up the hill or to trust driving across the "nasty" bit.

Anyway, a saw a passenger get out of the car and ushered the car forward so I assumed that the driver had decided to attempt getting down to Arillas with as little weight on board as possible. Luckily the car did make it.

Maybe I am a bit too safety conscious but there is no way that I would have driven down that part of the track. I just hope that nobody does it in the near future because I hate to thing what could happen, especially if there are people on the beach below. I would imagine that after the rain, that eggy has described, over the last few days the track is more dangerous than ever

Have any forum members driven down the track and how easy is it to get Warning signs erected in Arillas?

Eggy

Terry
i think you're right.
The track, alongside the football pitch, leading down to our house has changed completely over the last few days. A few more holes and dips appearing where they weren't before. It throws you totally off. Before I got into a  rythmm of "left-StayLeft- Right-Middle etc" Now I have to be careful not to lose the exhaust.
There are fresh holes/dips appearing on various roads around the North here.
