Its happening !!!!

Hi All,
We ARE going to make it back to Arillas this year after all !  Booked flights yesterday, out with Ryanair and home with Tui , staying 9 days from the 20th August at Bardis Hotel.
Its been a hell of a last 12 months or so , which only a couple of people on here knew about (Eggy and Nick B) .  Our oldest daughter was diagnosed with scoliosis early last year and needs a major operation this year , we were told on Monday it wouldn't be before August and is likely to be around October time . 
Then when we were actually in Arillas last year my Mom started behaving a little bit unusually and gradually got worse and worse .  Eventually we made her go to the Docs and she was diagnosed with a brain tumour which was removed a couple of weeks ago and she is mentally totally back to herself now, although a little bit weak physically , its amazing really !    She has been told today that its stage 2 cancer and she is going to have radiotherapy but the specialist is very hopeful that it can be sorted now the majority of the cancer was removed and my Moms very upbeat.
Anyway the bottom line is 4 of us will be there in August , me the wife and the two girls , that we can be thankful for !
Not one to air my personal stuff in public as a rule but I thought I would share this one.......

When your life is not good and you read of other people's burdens it makes your own feel quite insignificant.  Good luck and very best wishes to you and your family.  Arillas can only make it better.  Just hoping we might make it out again soon.
