Title: Webcam Live issues
Post by: DaisysMum on May 28, 2021, 09:28:51 AM: Just wondered if anyone else is having problems with the live webcam.

When clicking on the You Tube play button, it plays footage from the previous day and not "live it's 'appening" !

Seems to have been doing this since it was down a couple of days ago

Made me wonder if it was a delayed April Fool and then realised I have too much time on my hands 😀

Post by: Eggy on May 28, 2021, 05:50:46 PM: The beach front road is getting a makeover and has white lines (Crossings??) being painted. Problem is there is a tad of a breeze. A bit like sweeping leaves only to find they blow away and need to be swept again.
Possibly explains why the sweeping is taking time.

our internet provider Cosmote has been having problems since a few days... it seems that they can not keep the line permanently on so the live streams stops . We will probably need another type of camera in order to bypass this problem,

I found a good deal in the UK under this link on ebay! (https://www.ebay.com/itm/114782771139?epid=11012066643&hash=item1ab99617c3:g:MsEAAOSw9YFghzix) for less that 300 euros ( GBP 255.00 second hand)
Could someone get it and bring it over for us?
I will pay the full cost .
It seems that if I get a brand new model in Greece it will be costing us more than 900 euros.
I know Axiscameras . I have purchased a few in the past and I can trust even an old one! as they are very reliable.

The Axis camera interface will allow me to run non-stop 24/7 video in youtube using a live streaming platform licence that I own from our previous axis camera.

Hi Ann,
I have managed to re-run the old webcam with an additional program used by my own Personal Computer at home in order to give you some live streaming experience!
The new webcam is now in my hands and is waiting for some technical support and new installation.
I'm not sure how long the new live stream will last... please let us know of any issues you may find.

It still suffers from some feed problems, with the whirring circle appearing quite often.
It is better than the previous one though, as it suffered from major interference at the bottom of the picture.
