Dear friends of Arillas ( and mine)
Our website  was down today the 29th Apr 2009 due to a serious  technical problem of the hosting server .
There was a hard disk failure of the machine's disk that the operating system is running we were very lucky that the second disk where the data of  the websites is stored was still OK and no data  was lost  ( hopefully).

I need to apologize on behalf of my hosting provider for the inconvenience .
I must say although I live in Arillas it was still not easy without our website even for these few hours.

Kalinichta everyone now
If you notice any problems  please point them by  posting in here

Dimitris

PS:The chatroom is not working  I'll try and fix this later.

Dear Dimitris
Thanks for the update. There were a lot of panic posts on Facebook today! We have no right, but many of your members (and friends) feel lost without arillas.com, and must thank you for working so hard to keep us all in touch. I can put my anorak back on now....

see you soon
Phil

Many thanks for the hard work Dimitris. Hard disk crash - ouch!

We were getting very worried - Phil was having "nervous meltdown" (comparethemeerkat.com!).

Yes, he is still wearing his anorak!

Me too was at a loose end yesterday trying to load the page every now and then. Good to hear that the hosting  server didn't blow up totally and that you had the info backed up, phewwwww..... :o

But it was scary to notice how dependent I really am :P
Life is good ;)
