Anytime we are going that way Phil you are welcome to join us.

That's a major point of our Arillas Barry. You just wallow in the glorious sand and sea, but spend your time meeting lovely people, eating, drinking and laughing.

I have a  guess we share Ireland. As an old boy I need reminding. I have a vague memory of coys himself being from there. If I'm wrong, sorry, but in any case Slante!!

And yous are just as welcome wherever we are.

We have really got the Arillas bug now!  - We booked 2 weeks at the Markis from 15 August and then because the deals are so good and August is so far away last weekend we booked 1 week staying at the stay at the Tria Adelphia from 30 May. We would loved to have gone independately but the prices with Thomas Cook are so good that we just had to book a package. BUT we don't move out of Arillas for the whole of our stay and spend all our money in the village eating drinking and having fun!

This is our 3rd year staying in Arillas - we booked the first holiday on a whim and can't believe our luck in choosing such a lovely place!

Whether you go independently or on a package, it is better to go, than not to go at all.  If TC are offering low cost packages, let's grab them. Fill up the planes.

I worry that the world wide impression might be that because the deals are cheap, Arillas is a "down market" destination which it certainly is not.

This is in the public facing Arillas General Information board, and it is so important that visitors to this site understand just what this quiet but "busy" little bay between Agious Georgios and San Stefanos has to offer. Young families will find beach pursuits with safe, clean and shallow sea. Young couples will find peace and privacy. Many romances have blossomed here! Teenagers can bop the night away in Malibu, while their oldun's sip a sophisticated drink next door in the Coconut Bar. And all in safety.

Older ones can walk through the amazing rural villages just soaking in the breath-taking views of the bay. Really old ones can sit in peace watching the world go by, and joining in when they feel like it.

And then, of course, there is the amazing food to be had in dozens of top class tavernas, all  offering incredibly good value for money.

No wonder so many go to Arillas every year, and dream about being there when they are not.

I agree with Eileen, a SUPER post. It may be a good idea to put a post like this on the Arillas.com home page so that people researching Arillas can see it straight away.

Phil, I agree with Eileen and Terry. Well done.
Terry you're right Phils' post should be where everyone new to the forum looks first.
